Koimark Terms of Use (Public Beta)
Welcome to Koimark (the “Software”). By downloading, installing or using it, you agree to these terms.
1. Public beta
- During the public beta, every feature of the Software is free.
- Once pricing is decided, it will be announced on the website in advance, and new terms will apply from then. Files you have already written are not affected in any way.
2. Your files
- Everything you write with the Software stays as plain Markdown (.md) files on your computer, and they belong to you. The Software never uploads or encrypts your files, and never writes any marker into them.
3. AI features
- The Software can connect to AI services you choose. What you send goes directly from your computer to that service, under its own terms and pricing. The Software does not provide or relay these services.
- AI output can be wrong. Please check it.
4. What you may not do
- Use the Software for anything unlawful.
- Modify the installer and redistribute it, or distribute anything in Koimark’s name.
5. Disclaimer
- The Software is a public beta and may contain errors. It is provided “as is”.
- To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we are not liable for indirect losses from using or being unable to use it.
- Please back up important files regularly.
6. Changes
We may update these terms and will post the new version on the website with its effective date.
